Cont Blox manufactures customizable, flat-pack shipping containers that can be put together by the end-user. Our aim is to transform the construction landscape, and we believe your creative input can make this a reality.
Contest Details
Contest Period: The contest will run from 20th July 2023 to 30th September 2023.
Submission: Participants should submit a detailed design proposal including the concept, construction plans, 3D renderings, and a brief description of the project. Submissions should be sent to contest@contblox.com. If your files are larger than 20MB, please use a file transfer service such as WeTransfer.
Design Criteria: Submissions must consider and integrate user-assembly into the design. All designs should be envisioned in such a way that a person with basic DIY skills could feasibly put the structure together. The feasibility of assembly by end-users is a key judging criterion, so we encourage creative solutions that incorporate user-friendly assembly processes into the design.
Eligibility: The contest is open to architects and architecture students globally.
Rewards
The winning design will receive:
A lucrative contract with Cont Blox for further project development.
Public acknowledgment and feature of the winning design across our official Cont Blox platforms.
